Six white fluffy spheres float at different heights among thin dark branches. They look like dandelion clocks, but they are too large and too bright — more like lights than seeds.
I took the ground from greens and ochre at the top to a deep turquoise at the bottom, running down in thick drips. The lower part is cold and wet, the upper warm; the spheres hang exactly on the boundary.
I built the white of each sphere from hundreds of small radiating strokes — up close you can see it is not a patch but a drawing.
The most decorative work in this set, and the easiest to live with.
