Four elongated, rounded forms stand in a row on a hot brick-orange ground. Their surface is covered with a dense net of irregular cells, through which the colour of the background shows — as though this were skin rather than stone.
A horizontal band of white mist crosses the middle of the canvas. It does all the work: where it cuts across the forms, they stop touching the ground and begin to float. Blurring a single band was enough to turn standing shapes into levitating ones.
Warm orange set against the cool blue of the net creates a tension impossible to reach within one colour temperature. This is the most contrasting work in the series.
