A garden after dusk, when colours do not disappear but shift towards blue. Navy, densely bristling allium spheres hover at eye level, and quick pale strokes of grass pass between them.
The whole painting stays in one family of colour — from turquoise through cobalt to a near-black navy. With a palette like that you cannot build a composition on colour, so I built it on rhythm: the spheres differ in size and distance, and that creates the depth.
The panoramic format imitates how one looks in a garden — wide, not upward.
Oil on canvas, 50 × 100 cm. This work has been sold; it stays in the archive to show where the paintings available today came from. Similar motifs are in the oil painting gallery.
