Three slender flower spikes rise on the light, almost white paper, blazing with intense turquoise that turns into warm brown and violet strokes at the base. The pigment was laid on wet and spread into fluffy, cloud-like edges, and light patches within the stain look like light shining through petals. Narrow, green-olive leaves bent in soft arcs balance the vertical rhythm of the composition and bring back its botanical naturalness.
A cool, jewel-toned palette gives the piece decorative strength — it looks great in a living room, bedroom, or above a chest of drawers in a bright hallway.
