Three cranes with slender, high-arched necks meet in mid-air, as if carrying on a quiet conversation over the water. I paint them in one breath of the brush — from a pale, almost transparent blue to an intense azure that spreads across the lower part of the composition in broad, wet blooms with green and yellow inclusions. The white of the paper remains an equal protagonist here: it builds light, air, and distance between the silhouettes. Graphite feathers drawn with a thin brush add precision to the whole, contrasting with the free spread of pigment.
A modern, luminous piece for a living room, dining room, or a calm office space.
