A night walk across a meadow is a wonderful adventure, especially when the sky is cloudless and the moon is full. Against a soft, turquoise blue background there grows a silvery, scaled form, around which float spherical, navy blue flowers set on thin stems.
Plants lit by the metallic light of the moon look completely different than in daylight. I build a mood of silence and lightness, leading the light with delicate, blended brush strokes.
Everything becomes magical and mysterious on a meadow which pulses with life at night as well. The cool palette of silver, blue and deep navy gives the composition an elegant, modern character.
