The colors collide here without intermediaries, and yet blend softly — the pigment ran across the wet paper, leaving ragged, feathery edges and darker deposits. The background is filled with loosely scattered, honey-colored patches, and at the lower edge small blue stems with tiny buds grow, bringing lightness back to the composition.
