A cluster of elongated, spindle-shaped cups grows from thin, pale-yellow stems ending in curls that resemble the tendrils of climbing plants. The insides of the flowers shimmer with lime, cool blue, and lemon yellow, which merged on the damp paper into unpredictable, marbled patches. In the background I left lighter, barely marked silhouettes of the same forms — like an echo or mist over water.
The work is light and cheerful, with a clearly botanical drawing; it works well in a living room, a bright dining room, or an office space that could use a touch of nature.
