The center of the composition is taken by a spiraling shoot, painted in lime green and speckled with deep, turquoise-sapphire spots that dissolved on the wet paper into soft halos. Around it float transparent, olive-beige spheres resembling seed bubbles, and in the lower right corner a second spiral appears — this time in cool, light blue. The background, kept in celadon and pale mint, was laid with broad, watery glazes, thanks to which the whole piece seems suspended in water.
I combine botanical observation here with an almost abstract rhythm of form. A modern, quiet watercolor for a study, a bedroom, or a bright interior in natural tones.
