Gold is the only colour here. Everything else stayed in greys and beiges, so those three fruits glow although nothing lights them.
Inside each of them runs a pattern of curling tendrils — no real plant has it; it came from what shows against the light inside a dried husk. The sepals at the base curve like claws, and they are what holds the fruit on its stem.
Grey seed heads stand behind, deliberately without colour and without outline. They are there so the gold has something to strike against.
