I like blue very much, but sometimes I want to warm myself by warmer colors. Navy bulrushes with a mosaic, scaly texture rise and cross against a warm, ocher gold background.
This contrast of orange with deep blue became a pretext for painting another botanical story. I set deep cobalts and cool blues against a luminous yellow and cream, broad brush strokes, which cut the composition with dynamic streaks. The contrast of the warmth of the background and the coolness of the plants gives the painting expressiveness and decorative power.
This is a waterside motif full of energy, which will bring warm radiance and a refined, painterly accent into a living room. The painting is currently reserved
