Against a smooth, powdery pink background there spread graphite, leafless twigs, which like small trees emerge from soft, rounded rises. The undulating and organic composition gives the impression of a landscape seen from a bird's flight or of a delicate tissue, which vegetation gradually overgrows.
The cool grays of the drawing contrast beautifully with the warm, flesh pink of the ground. The whole is minimalist, poetic and surprisingly intimate.
