Klara is my favorite female name. Every woman who is called that is mysterious and very intelligent.
What Klara grows in her garden and where it is located is a great riddle. Certainly they are not banal pink little flowers or vegetables. From the bottom upwards there shoot up for me slender, cobalt stalks crowned with small, black heads, like a scattered bunch of field grasses.
The background plays out in soft, rubbed transitions of white, cool blue and warm pink, creating a luminous, vibrating space. I lead these accents rhythmically and lightly, building an impression of movement and delicate choreography. This is a cheerful, intimate abstraction with a spring freshness. The square format fits perfectly a bright living room, a hallway or a work corner.
