On my meadows it is cheerful even at night. Life goes on. Dark navy, spherical heads filled with a mosaic of lighter blue circles resemble at once lunar discs and blossomed, ripe fruits.
They are surrounded by feathery, silvery ears of grasses, which soften the composition and introduce movement. Everything plays out against a saturated, turquoise sky, thanks to which the painting radiates a cheerful, almost nocturnal and at the same time joyful energy - in keeping with the title.
The wealth of detail and the play of deep navy with bright blue create a hypnotizing whole. The large format makes this work an impressive accent for a spacious living room, a loft or a representative interior.
