Against an intensely blue background there grows a spreading, mushroom like form filled with a bright, cellular mosaic, which like a stained glass window splits the light into dozens of smooth fields. The narrowed base rests on a cool, silvery gray ground, giving the composition a sense of balance and tension.
I build it fluidly, monochromatically, drawing depth out of the shades of blue themselves. This is a modern, almost surrealist abstraction with a meditative, ordered rhythm. The square format and the expressive color make it a strong point of a modern living room or an office space.
