The organic forms of plants undergo transformations all the time. Sometimes they develop, sometimes they are destroyed. A net of irregular, cellular ovals weaves into a dense, organic structure resembling a magnified fragment of tissue or of a leafy membrane.
However a plant copes with regeneration far better than man. In the place of broken branches new ones grow. I envy plants that. A juicy, spring green passes in places into lime and cool violets, and the bright, almost white interiors of the eyes light up the whole composition.
This torn structure will soon knit together, because it is green. Flowing, confident lines build rhythm and movement, as if the structure were still growing and cracking in several places. This is a modern, abstract painting with a fresh, energetic palette, which will enliven a minimalist living room and add natural dynamism to it.
