The central motif is a deeply cobalt, elongated inflorescence strewn with scattered white dots, which bring to mind a map of a starry sky. At the sides it is sheltered by soft, white and silvery leaves and thin, wavy blades, and everything sinks in a cool, icy blue.
The contrast of an intense navy with the lit up background gives the composition depth and mystery. The name joins botany with the cosmos not by accident - this is nature seen as a fragment of a galaxy.
